The Educational Opportunity Center has a library of books on various careers and careers specific to certain majors. One of our most popular resources is Career Kokua, a career exploration service of the Hawaii State Department of Labor that includes books in hardcopy and on-line access to their occupations database. The information is updated annually to reflect the current job market in Hawaii.
Career Kokua on-line, requires a user name and password for access. The subscriber user name and our password is available at EOC. The navigation buttons at the top will take you to Career Assessment, Career Exploration, Education, and Financial Aid pages.
The Career Exploration tab has a listing of over 350 job descriptions that comprise 90% of the jobs available in Hawaii.
For those uncertain about your career or job interests, click on Career Assessment to take interest and skills tests.
