Studying on a beautiful island in Paradise

The island of Maui is renown for windsurfing, kite boarding, and whale watching. It is the home of Haleakala, “House of the Sun,” a 10,000-foot sleeping volcano. Maui’s beaches are world class, its rain forests and waterfalls spectacular.

Maui Community College is located in the small, friendly town of Kahului in central Maui. A new student housing facility with accommodations for 400 students is scheduled to open in Fall 2006. The apartments will be within walking distance of the college, with shopping, restaurants, and entertainment close by.

The campus is an ideal place to study. Classrooms are equipped with the latest in teaching technologies. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with faculty, staff, and students interacting with one another on a daily basis. Students from over 70 different countries and ethnic groups take part in an active student life that includes cultural and social activities, sports, and recreation.
