Composition I

Discovers and applies the concepts of purpose, audience, and tone in writing. Emphasizes evaluating written texts and writing various type of essays, including writing from sources. Focuses on critical thinking.

Prereq: ENG 22 or 55 with grade C or better, or placement at least ENG 100; or consent.
