Nurse Aide Training

Introduces nursing care for semi-acute or convalescent clients in the hospital, long-term care, or home setting. Prepares nurse aides to work under supervision of a registered or practical nurse. Demonstrates beginning level nursing for those interested in this health field.

Prereq: ENG 19 or placement at least ENG 22; or consent.

6 credit, 4 hour lecture/6 hour lab demo and clinical experience (Letter grade only.)
