Health Unit Coordinator

Develops knowledge of medical terminology and medical abbreviations; diagnostic tests and procedures; drug categories and medications commonly used in hospitals, ambulatory and long term care facilities. Includes background information relating to physician orders.

Prereq: BIOL 100 with grade C or better; or consent.

Coreq: NURS 16
