Introduction to Pharmacy Technology

Introduces students to the role and responsibilities of the pharmacy technician in the current health care environment. Describes basic pharmacy functions in retail, institutional, home health, and ambulatory care settings.

Prereq: BIOL 100, and BUSN 189 or MATH 18, 22, or 82 or higher with grade C or better; or consent.

3 credit, 3 hour lecture (Letter grade only.)
