ISISA – Islands of the World IX
Call for Abstracts/Papers

Delegates intending to present a paper or poster are requested to submit an abstract (maximum 300 words) to the ISISA IX Conference Coordinator as early as possible and not later than 1 April 2006.  Panels appointed by the ISISA Executive Committee will review abstracts, and notification of acceptance will be e-mailed to the primary author by 1 May 2006.  Full text of the paper (about 6000 words) must be submitted electronically in Word or pdf format by 1 June 2006 to isisa9@hawaii.edu

The general theme of the conference is Sustainable Islands – Sustainable Strategies with emphasis on the topics of po`okela (economy), mâlama `âina (ecology), and ho`ohanohano (social equity and heritage.)  The following information must be included in the submission
1. primary author’s name, affiliation, address, phone, fax, and e-mail;
2. additional authors and affiliations;
3. title of paper, keywords, and 250-300 word abstract.
