Coordinator’s Message
Aloha, and welcome to Maui Community College, Molokai
! Our college serves as the focal point for higher educational teaching and learning for the
University of
Hawaii system on the
island of
Molokai . We serve our island residents from high school juniors to senior citizens by providing a wide range of credit and noncredit courses, certificate and associate degree programs as part of Maui Community College. We also provide selected courses as needed from other community colleges; and serve as a receive site for selected bachelors and masters degree programs from UH Manoa, UH
West Oahu and UH
Hilo via UH/ITV as brokered by the
University
Center ,
Maui .
On an island that is uniquely Hawaiian yet interspersed with a variety of other cultures,
Molokai provides a wonderful environment for students. The distractions of a busy, urban lifestyle do not exist. In their place, are the serene, rugged beauty of the wild outdoors and a small population whose focus on family and friends is paramount.
