Are you having a hard time staying in school?
Are you a youth that is trying to juggle school, work and parenting but getting no where?
Would you continue your education at a Post-Secondary School if you had the financial capability?
Does it seem like the only good paying jobs are for people that have a college degree?
If you answered yes to at least 2 of these questions,
Ku’ina may be the Program for you. . .
What is Ku’ina?
Ku’ina is a County Youth Program operated by Maui Community College. Our job is to guide, train and support students who don’t have the money, skills or opportunity to meet their educational and career goals.
How We Can Help.
We will work one-on-one with you to come up with an overall plan to break the hardship cycle and get back on a positive track. We offer financial support and educational options. Our staff is here to help you achieve your education and career goals. We will encourage and help you learn how to make your own decision so you have power over your own future. You can be enrolled in our Workforce Investment Act (WIA), Career Awareness for Youth Program or both.
