2019 income/tax info for 2021-2022 FAFSA

Step 1: I have my FSA ID.

Before you actually start your FAFSA, first be sure you know the username and password for your FSA ID. If you are not sure or have forgotten this information then do the following:

  • Go to the FSA ID website – https://fsaid.ed.gov/npas/index.htm
  • Click on the “Manage My FSA ID” tab
  • Click on the “Forgot My Username” or “Forgot My Password” links

Reminder: The FSA ID is a username and password that serves as your legal signature and is needed to electronically sign your FAFSA application. You can also access other Federal Student Aid online systems with it.

Step 2: I am ready to start my FAFSA.

Now that you have your FSA ID username and password, you can start your FAFSA. We recommend using the video below as a guide to completing your FAFSA application.

To begin your FAFSA, go to the Federal Student Aid website – https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa

The UH Maui College school code is 001615. You will need to add this to your FAFSA if you will be attending UHMC.
