What are your thoughts on ECET?
The ECET program at UHMC was a great program to prepare me for work in the engineering technology field on island. The optics and systems control courses gave me the knowledge I use on the day-to-day at my job. The small class sizes were an absolute boon, something you will not find anywhere else. Professors in the program had years of experience in the field and in research; each of them was friendly and willing to sit down one on one to discuss course work or career advice. Many times this is what I needed to get back on track in class, and what led me to my current job. I've since transferred to a four-year university in partnership with UHMC to continue my Engineering Technology degree.

What are your thoughts on ECET?
The ECET program helped me develop the skills and knowledge in the electronics field. I experienced a steep learning curve which challenged me but also aided in preparing me for the professional field. The instructors were very engaging and provided more than enough assignments and projects to build up your skills.
